Most wedding clients live on WhatsApp, not email. Brightdesk gives you three ways to send an invoice: a link that always shows the latest status, a print-ready PDF, or an image that opens instantly in any chat.

Which format should I use?

Step 1: Open the invoice
Go to Finance → Invoices and tap the invoice, or open it right after creating it. Tap Preview Invoice to check how it looks.
Step 2: Share a link
Tap Share Invoice. You can:
- Copy the Invoice Link and paste it anywhere, or
- Tap Share via… to open your phone's share menu, then pick WhatsApp, Instagram, Gmail or any other app
Your client opens the link in their browser. They don't need an app or an account.
Step 3: Download a PDF
Tap Save as PDF. You'll get an A4 PDF in your chosen template, ready to email, print or attach to a WhatsApp message.
Step 4: Download an image
Tap Save as Image for a high-resolution JPEG. It's handy when a client says "just send a screenshot".
Step 5: Keep the status up to date
Invoice statuses are Draft, Sent, Paid and Overdue. Once a booking's payments are recorded, its invoice status syncs automatically. You can also tap Mark as Paid in Finance → Invoices.
A message you can copy
Hi Ananya! 😊 Here's the invoice for your wedding makeup on 14 Feb: [link] Total ₹60,000 · Advance received ₹20,000 · Balance ₹40,000 due on the event day. You can pay by UPI or bank transfer (details are on the invoice). Thank you!

Frequently asked questions
Can anyone open my invoice link? Only people you send it to. The link is a long, unguessable address.
The client lost the invoice. What do I do? Copy the link again from the invoice page. It always shows the latest version.
