Tasks and Kanban Board: Organize Your To-Dos Around Your Bookings

Updated 18 October 2026

Not everything is a booking. Order new lashes, call the venue, edit Sharma wedding photos, post a reel by Friday. Tasks is a built-in to-do list with a kanban board, so your business admin lives in the same app as your bookings.

In this tutorial

Step 1: Open Tasks

Go to Tasks in the desktop sidebar, or Quick Actions → Tasks on your dashboard. The Tasks widget on your dashboard also shows what's due.

Step 2: Add a task

Tap Add Task and fill in:

  • Title: What needs to be done?
  • Details (optional)
  • Due Date and Time
  • Priority: High, Medium or Low
  • Category: for example Editing, Purchases or Marketing
  • Pin to top: keep important tasks at the top

Step 3: Work the kanban board

Tasks sort themselves into columns:

Column Meaning
Overdue Past deadline
Today Due today
Upcoming Scheduled for later
Done Completed

Drag a task to another column to reschedule it or mark it done. You'll see confirmations like Moved to Today or Marked as done.

Use Search tasks… and Filters for Status, Priority and Category. From a task's menu you can Edit, Archive or Delete it.

Step 5: Organize with categories

Create categories that match how you work (Client follow-ups, Kit & supplies, Social media, Accounts), then filter by them when you sit down to work.
